ABOUT US

Renbukan Shito Ryu Karate is a Pure Japanese Martial Art. The original purpose of a pure Martial Art was for Self Defence. The Masters of Renbukan developed high level Technical Power through specific training and innovation.

Renbukan holds onto this ancient training and values, and teaches this Martial Art as taught by Masters Mabuni, Fujiwara and Iba.

Renbukan was designed for ordinary people who may have to face extra ordinary situations, so is just as relevant today as a Martial Art as it was through the last Century.

Since 1974, Renbukan Australia has been training students at locations over Brisbane and you will also find them on the Gold Coast, Yamba and the Darling Downs. We coach Students in the art of Karate and also the sports side for those students who one day hope to represent there country.
